| A LITTLE ABOUT ME | Hi everyone!! Welcome to my web page. My name is Leslie and I am 19 years old. I live in Simpsonville, in the beautiful state of South Carolina. I have brown hair, blue eyes, and I am 5'6". I also have a 13 month old son named Tyler. He is an adorable child, but be careful because looks are deceiving! I would be a very lonely person if it weren't for my wonderful family and my great friends. My mom Patti is the best mom in the world! :) She stayed at home for 18 years to raise me and my brothers and sisters. Just recently she went through training to become a doula (childbirth assistant). My dad Mike and my mom have been divorced for 4 years. I also have a sister Taylor who is 17, a brother Austin who is 11, and a sister Caitlin who is 8. My dad remarried last year so I have a stepmom Debra, a stepsister Erin who is 20, and a stepbrother Matt who is 18, added to my list of family members. Not to mention all of my grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins! And, of course, my baby Tyler. I also have many friends who I am thankful for. My best friend since kindergarten has been Natalie Scovel. She goes to college about 2 hours away from me and rarely comes home for visits (she has 7 brothers & sisters so she hates coming home!), so we haven't gotten to spend much time together lately. Another good friend of mine is Haley Norwood. We have known each other since we were 2. Our moms are best friends. Currently, my best friend is Emily Summey. We have only known each other for 3 years but we have been through so much together that it seems like we've each other our whole lives! (Hey Emily - Mike's back in town. Don't forget the good times we had with him and Adam!!) Patrick Ellison is another great friend of mine. He's sweet, sensitive, a GREAT listener (a rare trait in men), not to mention very cute!! :-) And what do I say about my (ex) boyfriend that I broke up with today...well, if he changes his ways, he may get another chance. Other great friends: Katie Humphries, Mike Svet, Michael Alexander, Matt Boyce, Tony Lawless, Dameon Smith, Jackie Cook, Jay Kicklider, Amanda Vogan (ha ha Chris!!!), Sharon Sanda, Audra Honeycutt, DeAnne McLane, Laura McKibbon, and many others. **A special dedication to my friends who have passed away: Kirby, John, TJ & Brandon - I love you guys and miss you everyday!!** **And a BIG I love you to my best online friend Chris Eggleton!!!! | INTERESTS |
My main interest is travelling. I have lived in South Carolina my whole life, and after so many years here, it's gotten really boring. I have never really been anywhere (unless you count that family trip to the New England states that I went on when I was 12). I would love to travel in the US first, visiting Arizona, California, Montana, Utah, and many other states. Then I want to head out of the country. I have always been interested in Italy and Greece,so I would LOVE to go to those countries more than anything (hmmmm...honeymoon idea??). I think it would be pretty cool to go to the rain forest or visit some Aztec ruins,too. I hate staying anywhere for too long, and 19 years is definitely too long to stay in one place!! My other hobbies include shopping which is a typical girl hobby. But when I am under stress, you'd be amazed at how relaxed I get when I buy a new outfit or the latest pair of Adidas. I also love spending time with my son. Playing ball with him or reading books to him or just pushing him around outside in his stroller is very rewarding. I feel closer to him and it seems like I can never spend enough time with him. I also enjoy sports. I played varsity basketball in high school and have also participated in other sports like volleyball, soccer, softball, and cheerleading. (I'll also watch football on TV with my guy friends. I know nothing about the sport- I just jump up & yell & scream whenever they do). I also enjoy spending time on the Internet. It's helped me out a lot with schoolwork,plus I get to learn about new things and meet really cool people. Now, since I have a baby, it is very hard for me to get out on the weekends and do things. On the rare occasion that I do go out, I LOVE to party!! | ||||||||||||||||
